Kids For Less Television Commercial Shoot

November 11th, 2009

I always love working on projects with producer Sara Schermer. We first met many years ago on a Miami Dolphins shoot.   We were shooting at the Dolphin’s training center, and Sara and I were the only women in a room filled with lots of men and football players. We sort of just gravitated to each other. As we got to talking we found out that we lived only minutes from each other and had lots of things in common. Happily, I have been working with Sara on her projects ever since.

Today was the holiday spot for a chain of children’s clothing stores called Kids For Less. They have 1 store in Miami, but many others in Puerto Rico, Illinois, Michigan, Texas and Maryland. As usual Sara picked some really sweet models. They were all between the ages of 9 and 12. Needless to say I kept the makeup light. We shot the kids on a green screen, so that they can be superimposed on an animated backdrop later on in editing. Here are a few shots from the day.

This was the first modeling job for several of them, but they conquered their nerves and acted like pros. I hope that they had as much fun as I did.
