Danielle P.’s Preview

March 23rd, 2012

In promoting yourself or your business it is always suggested that you develop a strong “elevator pitch.” It’s a short summary used to quickly and simply define your product, service, or organization.  The name “elevator pitch” reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.

Well, I unexpectedly met Danielle and her Mom in the elevator of The Pelican Grand Resort on my way up to the room for another bride‘s wedding . Danielle was there to observe that wedding and decide if she liked the venue (who wouldn’t… it’s fabulous!)

Well, with a quick and knowing glance she took in all my gear and  surmised that I was a makeup artist. She asked if I was doing the wedding they were going to observe, and when I said yes she asked me for my card. Within two weeks Danielle was in touch with me and the rest is history! So, next time you step into an elevator be prepared. Your next job just might be waiting inside.

Here are some before and afters of Danielle and her very cool Mom during their preview makeup session with me. What products did I use on them? The Blushing Bride Cosmetics, of course!!! Stay tuned to see my photos from her wedding on April 6th, 2012 at The Pelican Grand Resort.
